1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a site. We also use local storage in the browser for the same purpose: remembering the choice you make in the banner.
2. How we group them
Essential cookies run the site and remember your decision. They do not require a separate opt-in. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you choose Accept all, or turn them on in Settings and save.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | maxclawos.com | Stores your cookie choice | 1 year |
| _ga | Analytics, only after consent, and only if a tag is enabled | 2 years | |
| _gid | Analytics, only after consent | 24 hours | |
| _gcl_au | Ads measurement, only after marketing consent | 90 days | |
| IDE | Advertising, only after marketing consent and only if an ads tag is enabled | 1 year |
3. What the site loads today
The pages themselves do not include a Google tag. If we later add Google Analytics or Google Ads, those tags will load only after the matching consent, using Google Consent Mode. Until then, the only stored choice is cookie_consent in local storage.
4. How to change your mind
- Use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen the banner.
- Clear site data in your browser, which forgets the previous choice and shows the banner again.
- Block cookies in the browser: Chrome settings, Privacy and security, Cookies. Firefox settings, Privacy and security. Safari settings, Privacy.
- For advertising cookies more broadly, visit optout.aboutads.info.
5. Google’s own policies
If analytics or ads tags are enabled later, Google’s notices apply: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses advertising cookies.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this page when the cookie list changes. Questions: [email protected]. KLA Waterman, LLC, 155 North Lake Avenue, Suite 700, Pasadena, CA 91101. The Privacy Policy covers personal information more broadly.
